Major Spoilers Question of the Day: Four-Piece Band Edition

There are a lot of band, real and manufactured, in the world, but not all of them are a quartet.  No matter how much you love groups like The Doors, Queen, The Archies or Archers of Loaf, you can’t admit that there are either not enough or too many of ’em.  (Actually, I’m not sure about Archers of Loaf, I’m too afraid to enter that in a search engine.)  For my money, it’s hard to top The Beatles, but with so many people designated Fifth Beatle over the years, they’re actually more of a dodecatet, leading to today’s harmonious query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) reminds Faithful Spoilerites that my daughter, who came up with today’s question, says that there’s only one right answer and it rhymes with “Chunkees”, asking: What combo is the best four-piece band of all?
