Hey Guys – I’m really loving this season so far, and I can’t wait to see Sparkle avenge it up.
I almost never leave comments, but this week’s episode really got me wanting to share some thoughts. Hopefully you don’t mind some unsolicited advice! Sorry if you’ve already thought of some of these.
-Overall, I feel like Rodrigo has provided you with some great sandbox-y resources. Time to start making some castles!
-Little Sparkle: Think about requisitioning some of Saloth’s ninjas for some more offensive missions, rather than just recon. Throw a monkey wrench into some of Asmodeus’s plans, stymie his initiatives, disrupt his own diplomatic efforts with the new gods! Might be worth it to get some intel on what’s going on inside the Gulag Magnificent (like whatever happened to that legion of corrupted angels?).
-Randus: Have you given any further thought about how you might start stabilizing Time yourself, as a back-up plan in case the diplomatic mission comes up short? Those staticite anchors from the Gith ships might come in handy for that… I’m not sure if you have any way to contact the Natural World, but the Exilarchy might find it in their best interests to lend some resources to your projects.
-Orem and Randus: Learn some more rituals! :-) (unless you’ve been doing that off-mic)
-Just a general question: What happened to the rest of Bahamut’s followers after Asmodeus attacked his fortress? I didn’t get the impression that they all came to Rutile Island. Were they all killed? Captured? Refugees somewhere? They might be a good source of new recruits if they’re hanging out somewhere or need rescuing.
-The Eladrin assassins have me stumped. I vaguely suspect Corellon, but can’t figure out a motivation for why he would want to kill you guys. Ket’s idea to visit Corellon is a great one.
-Beware of Rodrigo using his Season 4 strategy of throwing a thousand problems at you in order to bog you down and run out the clock!
Keep up the great work, you guys! Favorite podcast since 2011!
