Have I mentioned that Cullen Bunn is a writing machine? The writer is headed to Archie Comics along with Laura Braga for Blossoms 666.
In BLOSSOM 666, launching January 2019, Cheryl and Jason Blossom seem like the wealthy, popular, and likeable teens we know and love, but in this world they harbor a deep, dark secret — one of them is the Anti-Christ! Both want the title, and no one in Riverdale is safe. As Cullen puts it, the new mini is “one part Omen, one part Cruel Intentions, all Archie!”
In other Archie horror news, the publisher announced Jughead: The Hunger and Vampironica will collide next year in Jughead: The Hunger vs. Vampironica. Frank Tieri and Pat and Tim Kennedy will bring the story to life.
I think I’m totally on board with whatever Cullen Bunn is working on these days, and the Jughead/Vampironica crossover should be interesting – especially if there can be only one winner…
