I want to thank all of you for sharing such deeply personal and specific stories. I feel like I know you all much better now, and I’m a bit in awe of your willingness to bare some of these experiences. I hope recording this was at least a little cathartic.
Thanks! Can’t speak for the fellers, but I’m good… There wouldn’t be the funny, the silly, the profoundly bizarre things in life and/or in podcasts without these difficult experiences to contrast ’em.
These are the things that made us, so it’s occasionally good to remember ’em, if only to remind us that everybody is carrying their own stone up the invisible hill or something like that I read on my aunt’s Facebook.
Wow! What a riveting podcast. Thanks for sharing your stories.
Thank you all, especially Matthew, for sharing your stories. Matthew, all of your stories, but especially #1, really got to me, as someone who has been through a similar experience. It is something you think you are prepared for, but are really not, no matter how much to try to be (which you touched on). I wonder if you’ve seen the Buffy episode about this, by the way. It really brought all of those emotions to the screen in a perfect way.
Also, Rodrigo, I really liked your #1! A big acheivement, one that is not easy at all, speaking from experience myself.
Thanks guys for a great show!
