If you were waiting for even more big announcements coming from Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016, you got it today, as Alden Ehrenreich has been confirmed as the young Han Solo for the upcoming stand alone flick.
Around 3,000 people auditioned for the role, and Phil Lord and Chris Miller searched acting schools throughout America and the UK. Interestingly, Alden Ehrenreich was the first person to audition for the role. If Alden looks familiar, he played Hobie Doyle in Hail, Caesar!
