The moment I decided I needed to be a Gold Member- Rodrigo leaving me in tears of laughter with his Anakin Skywalker “I hate sand” impression on Top Five.
I have no idea at all. I think it was when I used Twitter a few years back.
I’ve got an unread Legion of Superheroes omnibus by the bed. I’ll tell you after that ;)
I’d like to see a bit more interactivity on Facebook but overall the interaction is great.
Discontinued/Faded? Zach. I miss his childlike innocence and confusion at Matthew in every podcast.
I’d love more bonus tracks and ideally audio versions of the video Munchkin Lands. And more merch! I want an MSP box set of Pop Vinyls.
Yes, worth every penny.
A proud Gold Member!

Do you find value in what we do? I wouldn’t dedicate time to write for you if I didn’t.
Are you a Major Spoilers VIP? In spirit.
If No, what would convince you to become one? With a newborn on the way, I don’t have much extra cash but I’d like to think my contributions to the site even things out, haha.
Do you follow us on our social media outlets? Yes, but I don’t use Instagram.
1. Quality podcasts, likable people all round and great interaction with listeners.
2. There’s been many, I can’t choose. Probably the first time I called and got to speak on live show.
3. I honestly can’t remember anymoer but I think it was when I was looking for rpg podcasts and found Critical Hit.

What do you like best about Major Spoilers?
The respectful and joyous and fun interactions, genuine curiosity during interviews and the frank reviews. It’s a great ride :)
What was your most favorite moment from the last ten years?
5. Jason’s #5, The City on the Edge of Forever, which was also Stephen’s #1, in “Top Five Star Trek Episodes”.
4. Every one of Rodrigo’s entries, in “Top Five Reasons to Live Kansas (no really…)”
3. Matthew’s reaction when the group decided to go with Superheroes as the theme for their Fate game
2. Three-way tie between (a) Rodrigo’s Torq impression in “Critical Hit #239: Boomp Boomp; (b) Rodrigo’s impromptu kitten adventure in “Critical Hit #223: A Kitten Adventure” and (c) Orem’s acceptance of Trelle’s apology in “Critical Hit #207: Apology Accepted”, which, after Orem realises non-magic-users such as Randus’s parents cannot initiate sendings, went like this –
Trelle: I’m sorry the natural world bores you, Orem.
Orem: Apology accepted.
(I miss Adriana’s laugh.)
1. Matthew’s description of his immediate reaction to the end of the Season 4. Excerpts: “There is a difference between being happy about something, and feeling like the narrative was well-served.”; “Right now I’m full of grief and satisfaction, and it’s kind of like when you finish… recently I finished Grand Theft Auto, and I hated the way it ended, but I loved the way it ended, because I hated the way it ended, and I really love that.”
How did you find and become a fan of Major Spoilers?
From listening to Critical Hit. And how did I find that? Can’t remember…
What was the best thing you read/watched that was a Major Spoilers recommendation?
Atomic Robo.
Do you like the way we interact with you, our beloved Spoilerites?
Completely.
What discontinued/faded feature would you like to see return?
For Critical Hit, some of the exploration that comes from a fresh role-playing campaign. Think the addition of a new player this last couple of seasons has helped to keep it fresh. I wonder how Rodrigo and the players feel.
If we increase content on the site, what do you want to see?
It’s good as it is :)
Do you find value in what we do?
Totally.
Are you a Major Spoilers VIP?
Yes :)
Do you follow us on our social media outlets?
Yes, on Facebook.
1- It’s proximity with it’s users.
2-The new 52’s reviews. I just came back to comics at that time
3 – Through Critical Hit
4- D&D 4E
5- Yes, you are very accessible.
6- MSP adventures!
7- MSP adventures and more Trelle!
9- Of course.
10- As Randus would say… indeed.
11- Everywhere.
1- What do you like best about Major Spoilers?
What I like the most is the feeling of “belonging” I get whenever I listen to one of your podcasts. It feels like I’m with a group of friends talking about things we all love and having a good discussion about it, even if I’m not really there.
2- What was your most favorite moment from the last ten years?
So many to choose from! The first one that came to my mind though was the moment in Critical Hit when the party discovered they had been eating elven granola the wrong way. The yell of “It can be cooked!!??” almost made me fall over laughing (I was walking on the street)
3- How did you find and become a fan of Major Spoilers?
I honestly don’t remember! I’ve known of the site for at least 7 years, but it feels like MS has always been part of my life. It’s weird and awesome at the same time
4- What was the best thing you read/watched that was a Major Spoilers recommendation?
Locke & Key! That thing is amazing and I’m glad I decided to pick it up
5- Do you like the way we interact with you, our beloved Spoilerites?
Oh yes. No other site I know has so many different ways of community interaction. The monthly VIP chat, the weekly Finally Friday podcast, the poll of the week, the mailbag episodes, the twitter conversations.. so much fun stuff
6- What discontinued/faded feature would you like to see return?
I miss the extra quick review from other people in the MS podcast. It is nice to hear what other MS staff members have to say

More “Stephen/Zach plays” videos.
8- Do you find value in what we do?
Absolutely!
9- Are you a Major Spoilers VIP?
Yes, I’m a proud gold VIP member
10- Do you follow us on our social media outlets?
Yes, everywhere except Instagram, which I don’t use
Awesome questions!
What do you like best about Major Spoilers? My instinct is to say Critical Hit, which is true, but it’s really the cast of people that play it and participate in ALL of the Major Spoilers content that make it so.
What was your most favorite moment from the last ten years? Too many to count, but there are story arcs in Critical Hit that I listen to obsessively. One of my favorite arcs is the second half of Celestial Crusade, including the quests, the meetings with the gods, and the final battle. Another arc I love for some reason is everything from Holes straight through to The Scary Icky Yucky. I have these chunks, and the current season saved on my iPod. One beloved episode, believe it or not, is the unnumbered Holiday Episode, where Stephen, Matthew, and Rodrigo sit around and come up with ideas for a holiday themed D&D session. That show has inspired all of my Halloween and Xmas one shots!
How did you find and become a fan of Major Spoilers? I stumbled upon Critical Hit when I was browsing iTunes. It was just getting off the ground at that point, but I was hooked, and it led me to the site and all of the other podcasts.
What was the best thing you read/watched that was a Major Spoilers recommendation? Lots! Definitely D&D, but also Rat Queens, female friendly comics for my teen girls, numerous board and card games, old movies, and of course, podcasts.
Do you like the way we interact with you, our beloved Spoilerites? I am very grateful for your fan interaction.
What discontinued/faded feature would you like to see return? I can’t think of any.
If we increase content on the site, what do you want to see? I’d love to see Top Five become a weekly podcast. It’s a highly underrated show. I’d love even more D&D/Critical Hit content too.
Do you find value in what we do? More than you realize. I don’t know how I’d get through work without your podcasts.
Are you a Major Spoilers VIP? Yes, a proud one!
Do you follow us on our social media outlets? Yes, on Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube
1 – What do you like best about Major Spoilers?
Almost everything. The articles, the community, the news and so on. The only things I don’t follow are podcasts or videos because I’m hard-of-hearing and cannot understand a word that is said, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like that they are there for others who can enjoy them.
2 – What was your most favorite moment from the last ten years?
I can’t even begin to choose.
3 – How did you find and become a fan of Major Spoilers?
Friends linked me to some of the articles, and I started checking the site out myself after.
4 – What was the best thing you read/watched that was a Major Spoilers recommendation?
Arrow. After “Smallville”, I wasn’t anticipating another CW superhero series being that great, but it was a pleasant surprise to find out that it was actually decent.
5 -Do you like the way we interact with you, our beloved Spoilerites?
Of course!
6 – What discontinued/faded feature would you like to see return?
No idea.
7 – If we increase content on the site, what do you want to see?
An occasional feature devoted to foreign pop culture, such as Japanese superheroes, comics from other countries that may not be well known elsewhere, source movies for Hollywood remakes, etc. There are some articles here and there that mention them, but it would be interesting to see more than just an announcement or an occasional movie review. I know there are a few of us that enjoy things from outside our home countries, and that there are Spoilerites from around the world who might be interested in seeing how others enjoy the media from their neck of the woods.
8 – Do you find value in what we do?
Yep!
9 – Are you a Major Spoilers VIP? If No, what would convince you to become one?
Unfortunately, it isn’t simply a matter of being convinced. Between bills, medical bills, gas money to frequent doctor and specialists visits and so on, I barely have the funds for non-essentials. But I hope that when I can, I’ll be able to set a few dollars aside to become a VIP.
10 – Do you follow us on our social media outlets?
Not exactly. I do check the occasional tweet or other post, but I don’t use social media frequently enough to really follow anything (or even sign up for an account).
1. The camaraderie. You guys are so comfortable with each other – and trust each other – and it comes through loud and clear, as does your love for Major Spoilers.
2. This is hard. I was so excited the first time Matthew read my name as a contributor (or any time you read one of my comments). One of the lines from Critical Hit that stays with me is, “You turned Randus into a pumpkin?” That was pretty good. And I love all of Rodrigo’s hedgehogs.
3. Well, first of all, my husband found Critical Hit at a time when we were thinking of getting involved in D&D again, and we wanted to know a little bit about 4th Ed. The podcast was awesome. (We did go to Encounters at our local store, found a group that was forming, and now have a regular group and I’m running a 5th ed campaign for them.) Of course, there was only so much Critical Hit in a week, once we got caught up. So I started listing to the Major Spoilers Podcast on the side. (Which got me back into comics. Thanks. I guess.) That was shortly before the start of Zach on Film, so then we started following that for a while, watching the movies and then listening. And then we found Top 5. Now that I mention it, I think if I ever were to want to quit listening, I’d need a 12-step program.
4.Little Nemo Return to Slumberland. OMG what a beautiful book. I never would have expected to find it out there without you guys.
5.I do. You guys sound like we should be friends. It makes me want to do more to help out (need anyone else to write reviews?)
6. I can’t think of anything. Probably because if you phase something out, you replace it with something good. Oh, does more Modern City count?
7.I can’t think of anything right now.
8. Yes! It’s oodles of entertainment every month!
9. I am! I haven’t been one since the very beginning, since we hadn’t found you yet. But it is a modest price to pay for so much good stuff. And You’re Welcome! You’re the best too!
10. Yes. Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, starting to find you all on Instagram.
1. I love the friendly and inviting environment that the site and all the shows have. Also the diversity and the dynamic setup of all the content is outstanding. You guys are not afraid to take stuff out for a spin and see if it works or not. Whether it’s trying a new format or show or bringing back something from the past it always keeps me wanting more.
2. My most favorite moment is that I was able to see, talk to and play some games with the Major Spoilers crew. Also I believe Matthew no sold one of my jokes on a panel. But the 2 funniest things I still remember to this day is, Mathew dropping a glass on his bad toe and Rodrigo screaming in laughter at him at the start of the show and when Odin and Iron-Man had tea!
3. In October 2010 I was at work event in Texas and one of my teammates told me about this great D&D podcast, and played me a little of it. I thought it was great. Some time passed and then on Saturday February 14th 2011 I downloaded my first of many podcast from Major Spoilers – Critical Hit, Hello Future People! Rodrigo’s story telling is what hooked me and the rest of the podcast and shows made me a Spoilerite.
4. By far it has to be Atom Robo. The art and storytelling is so above par, it is the only book now that gets me very excited with they show up at my comic book store.
5. No only do I like the way you interact with everyone but also how often you engage us either via Twitter, answering questions on the podcasts, or the live call in/chat shows you do. Also to be honest I still get a little nervous to call in to chat.
6. Well the one thing I would love to…….IT’s TIME, for the millions in attendance and hundreds that still have no idea what KABLAMMAKUS means. Pooooolllllllllleeeeee (to be fare POLE has made a little come back, but makes me laugh every time) I really miss Matthew interrupting.
7. I would love to see Stephen Play/Zach Play more, maybe even as a contest have a VIP play online with you guys. Also this maybe more of #6 answer, but I would love to hear outtake from your podcast, I know you guy have done some in the past but you guys really bring the funny on those.
8. I find exceptional value, you have reopened the world of geeky stuff and comics for me 5 years ago and because of some of you podcast have made me connect with my son and daughter at pivotal points of their lives. It is great to enjoy stuff in the car with them on the way to school and to pick up a game and have a great afternoon getting my butt handed to me playing Munchkin. Plus there is no better bunch of guys and gals I would rather have in my ear holes during my me time!
9. YES I AM! I think #1 FAN has been thrown around a few time. Spoilerite for Life!!!
10. I’m following most of the Major Spoilers crew on one outlet or another, and no one has blocked me yet, so I have that going for me.
