BET announced at its upfront presentation that it will bring Marvel’s Black Panther to the small screen as a primetime series. The animated series is expected to begin airing in the 2008-2009 television series.

Please do not let this become another “Smallville” travesty. The Panther doesn’t have super powers, so there isn’t a need for ridiculous CGI. But it should be much better than the old ” Mantis ” series; please !
