Dark Horse Comics announced it is releasing the Swedish graphic novel, Alena, to comic readers in the United States of America.
While the image for the book looks pretty intense, it is only the tip of the iceberg once you’ve read the solicitation.
Alena’s life is a living hell. Since she arrived at a snobbish boarding school, she’s been harassed every day by Philippa and the girls on the lacrosse team. But Alena’s best friend Josephine is not going to accept that anymore.
Not from the counselor or the principal, not from Philippa, and not from anyone else at that horrid school. If Alena does not fight back, then Josephine will take matters into her own hands.
There’s just one problem . . . Josephine has been dead for a year.
AHHHHHHHHH! Scary ghost revenge! I haven’t seen any of the interior pages from this book, but the horror aspect of this revenge tale already has me nervous about going to sleep at night.
Alena arrives in stores on August 24, 2016, and has a cover price of $17.99
