Ready for even more Robin? This winter we can expect to see the sequel to Batman Eternal, and a tie to We Are Robin landing in our laps.

Robin War will feature characters from the We Are Robin series, as well as Damien Wayne who doesn’t quite like what the Robins are doing. There is also the hint/hope that Gotham Academy will be tied into this event, but let’s hope the greatness that is GA doesn’t get too polluted with the runoff from “big” DC events. As far as Batman & Robin Eternal goes, DC’s own Twitter feed (via Scott Snyder) revealed the return of Cassandra Cain.
Also, excited to finally get to say, major star of BATMAN AND ROBIN ETERNAL is Cass Cain.

“This series is going to reintroduce Cassandra Cain to the DC Universe,” returning co-writer James Tynion IV told reporters this morning. “We can’t talk too much about that just yet but this is a character that for me at least I have loved for my entire comic-reading life. The fact that we have the opportunity to bring her back in a very, very central role — she is on of the three leads of this story, her, Dick and Harper Rowe — I’m really pumped.”
I’m glad Scott Snyder is saying she will play a big role in the series, because her “return” in Convergence was pretty much a let down.
Batman & Robin Eternal will run 26 weeks.
Batman and Robin Eternal kicks off in October.
