I think the show needs to be more “Paladin in Hell” Where everyone around Gordon is a crook (Except Harvey. I hate that Harvey is so corrupt in the show) . I want to see a show where Gordon does the right thing and fights a one man battle against crime, injustice, and his own peers. He doesn’t have to win, just make Gotham a little better until Batman comes along and he finally gets someone who believes in his fight.
Easy, this is how you make the show better. Flash forward 20 years and make the show about Batman.
They have aired ONE episode.There is nothing to fix!Give it time!
Here’s the fix: No more Bruce Wayne.
We know who he is. We know his story. We know what he becomes and how he gets there.
Put the focus of this show on everyone else in Gotham. Make this their story. Who they are. How they became what they become. How they get from here to there.
Leave Bruce out of it. Send him on his journey of ‘learning to be the Bat’ and let everyone else have the spotlight.
