A long time ago, when I lived with Otter Disaster, he informed me that my crush on Sundra Peale was all well and good, but that the woman in question was “just $^@#ing lines on paper, man!” It’s advice that has served me well in my travels through the worlds of comics, especially when there’s Steve Rude or Amanda Connor art involved. Stephen has been known to swear by the beauty of an Adam Hughes pinup, and if you follow Rodrigo’s Tumblr, you know of his love of things artistical. While I might vaguely resemble John Goodman right before he beat up Delmar and Everett with a tree limb, I have the heart of a young teenage girl, scribbling “I heart Gwen Stacy” on my notebook and sighing my way through the halls of Frankie Muniz Memorial Junior High School.
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would happily marry Punk-Rock Storm as drawn by John Romita if not for the whole ‘adultery’ and ‘electrocution’ problems, asking: What fictional character is your biggest pop-culture crush?

It is a very, very strange tie.
Koume Kodou (Umeko) and Marika Reimon (Jasmine) of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, as well as Nai and Mea (the split form of Phantom Spy Vancuria) of Mahou Sentai Magiranger all take top spots for my pop culture crushes.
Of course i also have a thing for Emma of Power Rangers Megaforce, Jenny (The Doctor’s Daughter) of Doctor Who and Jade (Daughter of original GL Alan Scott) from DC Comics.
Yes, I know, I’m also surprised there isn’t a Twi’lek on the list.
One is Power Girl (pre-Flashpoint) I’m a sucker for very strong independent women. Also really intelligent entrepreneur, and you’ve got me signed up. Plus she seems to be the no-nonsense type with a heart of gold.
Part of me would be lying if I didn’t include Hermonie Granger (helped by Emma Watson), and if I were to have a ‘bad girl’ it’d be Black Cat.
Big Barda.
Any costume, any artist. Nothing more arousing than strength (not just physical!) in women.
Would “Any Costume” include Plastic Man when he posed as a dress for Barda?

Can’t say I get it, I mean I understand the art being sexy, and character being well written. But having a crush on a fictional character…
That being said, when I was a child and didn’t know any better I had a crush on Nona F. Mecklenberg from Pete & Pete.
Betty Cooper!
