The Christopher Barron Live Life Foundation’s mission is to honor the life of Christopher Barron who died in 2007 at the age of nine from leukemia and to instill his compassion and zest for life by providing underserved children unique opportunities to live life and pursue interests about which he was most passionate. With Christopher’s passion for creating and selling his comic books in mind, the Foundation created Christopher’s Comic Book Inspirations” comic book writing workshops led by professional comic writer, Alex Simmons.
Now in it’s fourth year, 300 Paterson’s School 21 children have participated. The Foundation’s goal is to expand the program to other Paterson NJ schools.
“The Foundation is thrilled to have this unbelievable opportunity. Christopher was a huge Spider-Man fan, having been read the Marvel comic books as bedtime stories,” said Christopher’s mom and Foundation president, Suzanne Andora Barron.
Christopher Barron Live Life Foundation is a public 501(C) (3) non-profit organization. For more information, visit www.christopherbarronlivelife.org.
