AirBnb has launched an new collection of lodgings they are calling Icons.
… a series of unique experiences located around the world inspired by movies, TV, music and art. The company unveiled its first 11 Icons, which include the “Up” balloon house, Riley’s Headquarters from “Inside Out 2,” Prince’s “Purple Rain” home and more. Most of the Icon locations are free, and the others cost less than $100 per guest. They can be booked through the app, which displays a countdown timer for when each Icon is available. More than 4,000 lucky guests will be able to visit them in 2024.
With the tremendous popularity of Disney+’s X-Men 97 they launched the X-Mansion!
Per Variety the X-Mansion includes:
Wolverine’s and Jubilee’s bedrooms, Beast’s science lab, the telepathic Cerebro device, the Danger Room and other features. There’s even the severed head of an evil, robotic Sentinel laying in the front yard to greet you as you arrive.
Let’s take a look inside:
This X-Mansion costs a mere $97 a night (get it!?), and is located in the Westchester, NY township in keeping with Marvel canon.
AirBnB Icons can only be Requested rather than Booked and that can only be done in the AirBnB app.
Cobra Kai Announces Season 6 Release Date
… and viewers won’t be getting them at the same time! The streaming giant is continuing a deeply annoying trend in television of the past 10 – 15 years or so, it’s being split into two parts.

The tremendously popular Karate Kid spinoff series will be wrapping up its saga with a sixth season nearly two years after the fifth season began streaming on Netflix. Typically when shows are popular and get the multi-release-date treatment that means two chunks of episode. Not to be outdone, Cobra Kai has earned itself three release dates:
- Cobra Kai season 6 Part 1 (Episodes 1-5) – July 18, 2024
- Cobra Kai season 6 Part 2 (Episodes 6-10) – November 28, 2024
- Cobra Kai season 6 The Finale Event (Episodes 11-15)– 2025
What is “The Finale Event”? No one knows yet! And it looks like we won’t for another year (if not 18 months), at the earliest.

Emily in Paris Announces Season 4 Release Date
Fans of the popular Netflix streaming show Emily in Paris (as a French speaker, I’m begging you to pronounce the name properly – “Paris” is the French pronunciation. The title is supposed to rhyme!), rejoice! Lily Collins is not only returning as the eponymous Emily, she’ll be doing so late this summer:

This morning during Netflix is a Jokefest this news came down along with more information. including that much like Cobra Kai, Emily in Paris will be getting the split season treatment.
Part 1 will consist of 5 episodes with Part 2 consisting of the back 5 episodes. Emily in Paris seasons have traditionally been comprised of 10 episodes, so at least fans will be getting the traditional season length, just likely split over 6 months or an entire year. TBD.
Per Netflix the fourth season of Emily in Paris is described as follows:
After the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed.
