Madame Web Shares Character Posters on Social Media
Sony Pictures’ Madame Web continues the development of the Sony Marvel Comics Movie Universe with the most aggressive expansion we’ve seen from them yet. It’s also poised to be first major Comic Book Movie of the Year with the bold release date set for February 14th – Valentine’s Day!
Today across the Madame Web social media accounts fans were treated to character posters of the main cast including: Dakota Johnson as Madame Web, Sydney Sweeney as Julia Carpenter, Isabela Merced as Araña, Celeste O’Connor as Mattie Franklin,Tahar Rahim as Ezekiel.
As a Euphoria stan, I’m obsessed with the Sydney Sweeney poster. I’d love to read in the comments which character poster has caught your eye!?
Demon Slayer’s Next Movie Drops a Trailer
Demon Slayer: To The Hashira Training debuts on February 22nd – right after Madame Web’s Valentine’s Day premier date – and could be the early geeky hit of 2024. The fourth season of the most popular anime in the world (I can feel the side-eye I’m getting from the Chainsaw Man fans out there and I stand by my assertion!), is set to hit around April of the this year, but we thankfully have an animated feature film to tide us over in the meantime.

This Year’s Emmy Winners
Last weekend the Emmys held their ceremony in Los Angeles honouring the best of 2023’s film and television offerings. Unsurprisingly, Succession and The Bear led the day in television with Better Call Saul losing out on its final chance to gain the recognition it deserves, making the Breaking Bad spinoff the Most Snubbed Series in History.
RuPaul’s Drag Race has 29 wins with RuPaul Charles securing 14 wins making the show and the host the most awarded in Reality Television history. RuPaul took the opportunity in his acceptance speech to stand up for Drag Queen Story Hour and address some of the many attacks against the LGBTQIA2S+ community in recent years:
