PRESS RELEASE
Vault is thrilled to announce that they have partnered with Jazzlyn Stone, who will help the publisher launch a small selection of very exciting Kickstarter projects in the near future. The first Vault Kickstarter project will be announced next week.
“I’m excited to work on these projects with Vault,” said Jazzlyn. “The whole team has been incredibly kind and welcoming. As a fan, I know there is an audience for deluxe-as-hell collected comics editions, thick enough to use as a weapon. I understand why the Direct Market would be wary of taking that kind of chance, but I’m optimistic that we’ll find the appropriate fans in the trenches of crowdfunding. I can’t wait for Vault fans to see what we’re creating. Think Deluxe. Think Thick.”
“I think everyone who publishes books dreams about being able to create great big beautiful deluxe hardcover editions of everything they publish,” added Vault CEO & Publisher, Damian Wassel. “Kickstarter helps make that possible for publishers like Vault. Which is pretty darn cool, if you ask me. Another dream all publishers have is finding ways to reach new readers. Score another win for Kickstarter, which is a forum for one of the coolest comics communities on the planet. So, I’m incredibly excited to start bringing some amazing deluxe editions to fans both new and longstanding. Our efforts here will be aided by a field guide as expert as she is awesome, the inimitable Jazzlyn Stone. There’s no one better we could ask for by our side as we launch our first crowdfunding campaigns.”

Vault publishes original, creator-owned science fiction, fantasy, and horror comics and graphic novels, from both emerging and established creators. Creating science fiction, fantasy, and horror requires confronting the new, the bizarre, the unimagined. In these genres, creators can break the established order, dissolve conceptions of social identity, and give voices to the silenced. They can ask hard questions, and if they are brave, venture bold answers. Beyond the page, Vault actively develops its library across a wide range of media, including film, television, audio productions, and video games.
Founded in 2016 by Damian Wassel (CEO), Adrian Wassel (CCO), Nathan Gooden (Art Director), and Damian Wassel, Sr. (Co-founder), Vault is a closely-held privately-owned company.
