Jenny Zero is back for a new adventure at Dark Horse Comics thanks to Dave Dwonch, Brockton McKinney, and artist Magenta King.
Following the events of the first series, Jenny returns to Japan with the Action Science Police, and reunites with her BFF, Dana Sheratin! But the two badass besties soon find themselves dealing with a Kaiju Death Cult, a giant burger mascot, and a new monster called… fame?!
“For volume two, Dwonch, Magenta, and myself cracked open the notebooks (plus several six-packs) and set out to make this the most heartfelt and outrageous chapter of our drunken hero’s life yet,” said co-writer Brockton McKinney in a press release from Dark Horse Comics. “It’s Jenny and crew blasting through Japan, dealing with Machiavellian supervillains, tear-jerking reunions, telekinetic inanimate evil, shocking hook-ups, super-powered designer drugs, and the most insane giant-creature battles this side of Toho’s Big Five. We also enlisted über-talented colorist Arnoldo Robles, who really turned the series’ knobs up to eleven. We can’t thank Dark Horse and the #TeamZero fans enough for giving us the chance to continue Jenny’s epic (and inebriated) tale.”
Jenny Zero: Homeland Insecurities #1 (of 4) arrives on May 11, 2022.
