Skybound Entertainment has announced a new chapter of the Ninjago LEGO series is coming our way in the pages of LEGO Ninjago Garmadon #1 that arrives in 2022.
The announcement was made during the Skybound Halloween Xpo, with the comic book series written and illustrated by Tri Vuong. This is the first LEGO book from Skybound Entertainment, though the publisher did announce more LEGO titles would be arriving in the coming year.
“When it came to our first LEGO® comic book series launch, we knew it had to be full of action, adventure and heartfelt drama. Everything that’s made the LEGO® NINJAGO® franchise so iconic,” said Sean Mackiewicz, Senior Vice President, Editor-in-Chief at Skybound Entertainment in a press release from Skybound Entertainment. “We’re excited to expand the official NINJAGO mythos in partnership with our friends at AMEET and the LEGO Group to bring you the grand return of the bad guy you love to hate—Lord Garmadon!”

LEGO Ninjago Garmadon #1 is the first in a five-issue mini-series, and it scheduled to arrive on April 6, 2022.
