    The last couple of days have been full of cartoons, thanks to a deep dive into the world of Hanna-Barbera action heroes, which just reminds me of one of the unbreakable rules of the universe: Scatman Crothers is a national treasure.  Hong Kong Phooey’s signature voice makes him even more memorable, which gives him an edge over many similar cartoon folks.  Then again, there’s also Wally Cox, whose distinctive demeanor is likewise unforgettable, leading us to today’s dog-eat-dog query…

    The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) figures this one isn’t a fight so much as a qualitative ranking, as they’re both good-natured hounds and unlikely to battle, asking: Hong Kong Phooey or Underdog?
