A recent round of Ten Things Nerdery on my Twitter reminded me of the existence of (and my sudden inexplicable missing of ) Agent Carter. It seems like a million years since that show ended its run, with a prolonged thud and a big messy sack of Chad Michael Murray, but it’s only been about five years. Though I don’t expect it, I’d really love to see the triumphant return of Hayley Atwell, with less erasure of her history, more awesome wartime exploits and perhaps the formation of SHIELD itself, leading to today’s unlikely query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) will have to settle for the upcoming ‘What If?’, which promises an Agent Carter episode, asking: What bit of pop culture most deserves a triumphant return in your eyes?

I’m waiting for that big budget Ultraman movie to finally get ready.
A part of me really wants to see an updating of Strikeforce: Morituri. I think that in this era, coming out of a two-decade-long war, there might be some interesting new allegories and explorations to be made with militarized super youth sacrificing for a cause.
Oh, I just read about this team and last incarnation had Finnish characters in it. Its always kinda fun to see someone understand our almost incomprehensible language and culture. They got names almost right, Paula and Kimmo are real, regular first names, but got last name “Tuolema” mixed up with two words: “Kuolema” (death) and “Tuonela” (afterlife).
I would love to see a return of the StarGate franchise.
