By all accounts, it was the introduction of the Green Ranger during Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers Season 1 that moved the show from “kinda cool” to “full-on pop culture phenomenon.” The main issue came when the footage of DragonRanger (the Japanese character from whom the character wwas adapted) ran out. In those early, experimental days, Saban simply stole the Sixth Ranger from the NEXT series, Dairanger, giving Tommy a new look and really paving the way for the changes to come. It also sparked an endless debate about which is cooler (and don’t even get me started on his later Red and Black ranger forms) that leads us to today’s bicameral query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) actually likes the white suit better, but prefers the shield of the green one, asking: Which Tommy Oliiver Mighty Morphin’ Ranger form is the coolest: Green or White?

I have never seen much American Power Rangers, but I’ll go with green. I’m a sucker for animal themed helmets where face part is in the mouth.
