There was a lot of online fervor a few weeks ago, when DC Comics announced the first appearance of Punchline in Batman #89. Now to ensure fans of the new character can get access to her as soon as possible, the publisher has announced it is releasing Stanley “Artgerm” Lau’s Punchline variant cover for Batman #92 instead of issue #94.
“Their Dark Designs,” the debut story arc of writer James Tynion IV and artist Guillem March continues to reveal the plans of Gotham City’s newest villain, The Designer! This mysterious crimemaster is planning the greatest heist in Gotham City and he’s enlisted the aid of Gotham’s most evil villains! Batman knows what he needs to do to stop this plot, but he must first escape the most ingenious death trap ever devised, courtesy of The Riddler!
So what about Batman #94? DC Comics has another variant cover in the works from artist Francesco Mattina.
