Once upon a time, in the year 1989, I went to college and bought a VCR. This allowed me a number of entertainment options, but one of the greatest was always ‘The Lost Boys’, a truly impressive bit of weird-ass genre fiction that captured a particular zeitgeist and featured some very talented actors, including Corey Feldman and a spike-haired Corey Haim. Both Coreys had been in better films before this one, but somehow their particular talents are most memorable for me in the movie’s vampire extravaganza. Later years weren’t quite as kind to our Coreys, and sadly, Haim passed away in 2010, but the question of Feldman’s worldly insouciance versus Haim’s more wholesome kid-next-door mystique, which leads us to today’s bittersweet query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) enjoyed ‘Dream A Little Dream’, but still can’t even tell you how that plot actually works, asking: Who’s your fave-rave Corey; Corey Feldman or Corey Haim?

Bah, humbug:
Professor Irwin Corey
Corey Feldman got pretty good Andrew Eldritch thing going on there.
