There are a lot of characters who get no respect on the innernets, but even the snottiness aimed at Matter-Eater Lad is nothing compared to the heat that The Invisible Woman’s cutout bikini outfit draws. Fashion is a complex game and the effect that it has had on the wardrobes of our imaginary friends isn’t always a positive one, especially in the 90s. But remembering that Daredevil wore big bulky armor, Thor wore a half-shirt and the 3-D Man was just the 3-D Man leads us to today’s sartorial query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) doesn’t think that Jean-Paul’s Batman uniform should count, as it wasn’t really a redesign, asking: What’s the most disastrous costume redesign of all?

After the latest Dr. Who regen, there was a scene where the new Doc was in the dressing room and stepped out into what I thought was going to be a humorous montage of ugly outfits followed by the real one. But there was only one outfit. And no montage. And I’m like… oh, no. No, no, no, no, no.
