One of the joys of adulthood is sharing some of my favorite stuff with my now-teenage kid. She has an appreciation of Super Sentai, enjoys a lot of classic rock and has strong opinions on all the Spider-Man costume options in his latest video game outing. (She also shared her favorite musical with us recently, which was pretty nice as well.) The bad part comes in moments like our viewing of ‘Jason Of Star Command’, during which she watched, puzzled for a few minutes then informed me that the show was slow, dumb and embarrassing. She’s not wrong, which makes my continued fandom something of an old shame for me, leading to today’s produced-by-Lou-Scheimer-and-Norm-Prescott credits…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) also regrets my huge fandom of ‘Ender’s Game’, but that’s for entirely different reasons, asking: What show, book or movie that you loved in the past is now an old shame?

Generally, no shame but if I had to choose something, probably some “edgy” 90’s or early 00’s thing.
