Possessing a natural talent for seemingly everything, the man calling himself Hunter Rose conquered the worlds of sport and literature, then turned his attention to crime. Becoming a famed assassin and eventually crime lord, Rose took a cruel and capricious tack to his masked activities. Repeatedly clashing with the wolf, Argent, Grendel eventually met him in final battle, dying on the street…
Of course, it soon became clear that, while he was the first to bear the spirit of Grendel, Hunter Rose was by no means the last…
