I have never been a big fan of the cover of Action Comics #1. It’s iconic but not a very cool cover.
I voted for Amazing Fantasy #15.
Two words: Web Pits! Spidey gets my vote.
Had to give the nod to Action Comics here. While they’re both iconic images, I feel like Superman’s first appearance would have had a greater impact on people reading comics at the time, whereas by the time Spidey showed up superheroes wereally already a known quantity.
Plus I’m not that big a fan of comic covers with a lot of words stuck all over them; I believe the image should speak for itself.
While both are very iconic, the motion lines on Amazing Fantasy are off on a couple of levels for me, so it’s gotta be Action #1.
