While the New York Comic Com marks the traditional end of the “comic book convention season,” the reality is comic book conventions are happening nearly every weekend all across the country. 2017 is rounding the corner to the end of the year, which is why Wizard World has announced a slate of conventions for 2018.
The 2018 schedule, which will likely add some additional cities to be announced, is comprised as follows (*denotes new for 2018):

In addition to the announced games, Wizard World has announced five events in Biloxi , Miss., Montgomery, Ala., Peoria, Ill., Springfield, Mo., and Winston-Salem, N.C. have been postponed from their originally scheduled fourth-quarter dates in 2017 to similar dates in 2018.
There have been some ups and downs for Wizard World over the last couple of years, so I hope everyone who plans on going to these conventions in 2018 don’t find their show cancelled at the last minute.
