8) CASTOR AND POLLUX
One of the constellations of the Zodiac, Castor and Pollux together comprise the constellation Gemini. Apropos of nothing, for the longest time, most of the girls I ever crushed on were Geminis, which is the kind of thing that makes you love the nonsense that is astrology.
Part of Hero Alliance (a super-team that jumped from publisher to publisher in the late 80s/early 90s) Castor and Pollux are Bob and Steve Shayne, whose stillborn little brother’s psionic energy gives them extra-normal powers (albeit only one at a time) and the ability to combine their energies to make a protective force shield.
