I’m not saying that I have identified with Cliff Clavin in the past, but I can be something of a know-it-all. For a while, I was not allowed to play the ‘Jeopardy’ PS3 game with my friends, as my skill at that particular game show made me an unfair challenge. I’ve also considered whether I’d be any good at something like ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’, but the rules of that game seem obscure and overly complicated to me. Indeed, my dream game would be ‘Match Game,’ but all the folks I want to see on the panel are already deceased, which is depressing but at least lead’s us to today’s lightning-round query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) would be fine with anything that doesn’t require agility; I’d be dead meat on ‘Legends Of The Hidden Temple’, asking: What game show would you choose to showcase your mad skillz?

I would have loved to be a contestant on the short-lived 1 vs. 100. It felt similar to those bar trivia nights where if you are on a team of one and you’re able to beat the team of 5 or 6.
I’d like to be on Let’s Make a Deal, the only game show I’ve seen where as an audience member you’re encouraged to come to the studio dressed like a chicken or something equally whimsical.
Not for me. The game is basically random like many games on Price Is Right. It’s coin flipping and no skill. Even the Prisoners Dilemma of changing boxes a la Ask Marylin is just a logical choice. And something like that was done far better on Golden Balls in the UK as heard in that RadioLab episode a few years ago. But costumes can be fun.
I would absolutely kill it on Wheel of Fortune. Well, the original version of Fortune before the wacky categories like Crosswords and the rapid rounds. But the one I really wish I’d had a chance to play was the Jokers Wild from the 1970s with Jack Barry, I think. It was fun!
good questions, some pretty hard
good prizes
I always loved that one
Because I have unsuccessfully auditioned for the show on numerous occasions, I would like to be on “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.”
