This week, the four CW DC superhero properties (The Flash, Arrow, Legends Of Tomorrow and Supergirl) are embroiled in a four-way battle to save their world(s) from a terrible alien threat, reminding all how cool it was the first time Spider-Man fought Daredevil or Doctor Doom showed up in Metropolis to menace Superman. (Yes, that actually happened.) Seeing the various characters all sharing in the crossover madness is pretty cool, especially when you realize that they could do that with other programs as well, like when all the ‘TGIF’ comedies ended up in Las Vegas that one time, and Drew Cary hit on Topanga or something, leading to today’s shared-universe query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) still wants to see ‘Alf’ crossing over with ‘The X-Files’, if only to see Gordon Shumway and Fox Mulder deadpanning each other’s jokes, asking: If you could choose ANY two TV properties to interact, who would meet in your crossover madness?

Two that came to my mind first were Dr Who and X-Files. I don’t think much more explanation is needed.
I would watch the heck out of that show
Ultraman and Super Sentai. There are some close calls (such as stage shows, etc.), but there hasn’t been a proper crossover of the two. It would be great for a special movie in the vein of the Super Hero Taisen series that crosses over Super Sentai, Kamen Rider and Metal Heroes (though those three are produced by the same company). Even better, involve the Gokaigers (who were recently on the current Sentai series) and have them get Ultraman Keys, taking on the forms of Ultras who either no longer exist or otherwise wouldn’t be around (for example, could use that to have Ultraman Saga and Ultraman Legend fighting side-by-side with Ultraman Cosmos, who is actually part of both characters via fusion with other Ultras).
Hey, I tried. There aren’t a lot of shows I would want to see cross over outside the realm of self-parody (in the vein of the Doctor Who/EastEnders crossover) or definite non-canon (like Phineas and Ferb Star Wars).
Due to the sheer insanity of it all, I think the 11th or 6th or 7th Doctor (with Ace of course) appearing on the Death Star (1 or 2) or during the Clone Wars would be interesting. Could Ace throw her Nitro 9 down the Thermal exhaust port to cause the chain reaction?
SOLD.
I’d like to see Chuck cross over with the BBC’s Sherlock. The hyperactive & zany American crossing with the stolid & steadfast British in an adventure of mystery & intrigue.
I think I would actually like that. The cool, calculating mind of Sherlock forced to work with the geeky doesn’t-always-flash-when-needed mind of Chuck would be brilliantly hilarious.
