Earlier this month, auction house ComicConnect sold Incredible Hulk #1 for an incredible $375,000. That’s a new record for the comic that was first released in 1962.
The comic in question is a CGC 9.2 graded copy of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s green goliath (though the first appearance was more gray). The selling price is a huge jump for the issue, as the last time it went on the auction block it went for $117,500.
While you probably won’t be able to get your hands on a CGC 9.2 version of this comic anytime soon, ComicConnect does have several other versions for sale ranging from a CGC .5 for $3,750, CGC 4.5 for $13,500, and a CGC 8.5 for $150,000.
