Maybe it was because the movie was already long enough, or maybe it was just too expensive to get Nightcrawler to breakdance, but now we can see three minutes of the X-Men visiting a mall from X-Men: Apocalypse.
I can totally see why this sequence was cut from the film – it does nothing to advance the Apocalypse storyline, and is simply a nice diversion from the darkness of the overall film. That being said, this would totally be an awesome sequence in an ’80s X-Men vs. Sentinels movie. Plus, this sequence gave Jubilee something to actually do in the movie.
Now I want to see the rest of the cut sequences from the movie…
