When it comes to the main villains of the Flash’s Rogue’s Gallery, we’ve seen all but Mirror Master, Abra Kadabra, and The Top on the television series. When season three begins, the only one we’ll be missing is Abra Kadabra, as it has been revealed a gender-flipped version of the The Top is now set to appear alongside The Mirror Master.
Mirror Master was announced to appear last week during the TCA CW panel, and today, E! News reveals that Ashley Rickards will play The Top in episode four of season three.
Interestingly, it looks like Mirror Master and The Top will be a Bonnie & Clyde duo. Flash villains have long been teamed together (Heat Wave and Captain Cold, Trickster and Pied Piper), so this pairing could be very interesting, especially if there is a romantic connection between the two villains. In comics, Lisa Snart (Captain Cold’s sister) became the Golden Glider after her boyfriend, The Top was killed.
Episode 304 will be an origin story for Mirror Master (played by Grey Damon), will feature The Top, and a return appearance of Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold.
Now, if the creators can keep Barry Allen from killing all the cool villains in the show, we could see some of these great villains become recurring foils for our hero.
