3) REVENGE
Part of the Fifth Generation of Strikeforce: Morituri, Jason Edwards was one of just a handful of characters to make it out of the series alive. Even with his unfortunate alias (which, to be fair, was justified in-story), Jason later got a leather jacket with chains and a facial scar, finishing out the 1990s in a cyberpunk dystopia. The irony is, the ‘Electric Undertow’ miniseries was a truly interesting, new take on the characters, but sales weren’t high enough to warrant followup…

OMG there was really an X-Men title called X-Statix? Awful.
It was actually quite good. The whole point of the book was to skewer/parody the idea of the X-Men as well as the nascent celebrity culture… I recommend it, honesty.
I’ll second that. At the time it came out, I was fairly burnt out on X-Men and Marvel mutants, but it was a magnificently fun book. A bit messed up at times, but very entertaining all the same.
