During the big Rebirth announcement by DC Entertainment this weekend at WonderCon, there were two books that were not mention – Earth-2 and Gotham Academy. Because they were not discussed many fans have wondered if the books are being cancelled. Good news, everyone! They are not.
During the press conference following the public event, the question was brought up, prompting Dan DiDio, co-publisher or DC Comics to respond, ” I think we didn’t mention them because they’re not really Rebirth issues. They’re going to be continuing going, so they’re both ongoing series, but are not actually part of the Rebirth event. ”
So there you go – breathe a sigh of relief, get caught up on all the issues, and get ready of the big Gotham Academy/Lumberjanes crossover event and Gotham Academy: Next Semester arriving in the coming months.
