NBCUniversal completed its annual survey of Fandango users, asking them to pick their most anticipated movies of 2016. It’s a pretty good list, but I’m rather surprised Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is ranked number one. This leads to this week’s Major Spoilers Poll of the Week.

Deadpool!
Voted for rogue 1 but I almost voted for for Bourne it deserves more votes
Deadpool!
I agree, can’t believe this wasn’t on the list, yet Finding Dory was…
Deadpool by far.
Hail, Ceasar. Love me some Coen brothers.
It would be easier to pick which movie(s) I’m least likely to see. I may need to pick up an extra job to see all of these movies.
Deadpool!!! no doubt
Civil war for me. Winter Soldier was such a good movie. I’m really looking forward to it. Deadpool is a close second. Rogue One I don’t know much about yet to get excited even coming off Episode 7.
Captain America most of all, but Deadpool is sneaking up behind him with a comically sized hammer.
The Warcraft movie! I’ve been waiting for that movie for literally YEARS.
Other than that, “Dawn of Justice” would be my second choice, mainly because of the non-Batman or Superman characters.
I’m being cautious about my optimism, but I really hope it will be worth the wait. I’m not the biggest fan of Warcraft, but I like the franchise in general enough that I really want this to be a good movie that lives up to the rich lore of the source material.
Like many others,Deadpool!
I just wish there was an all of the above selection. I don’t like going to movie theaters but with all these really good looking movies I might be spending a lot more time in one.
Star Wars always wins out, but this is one of those years where it wasn’t my instant go-to choice. Between Captain America, Batman v Superman, DEADPOOL (Seriously, why wasn’t this on the list) and a few other films not on the list, there are quite a few movies I’m eagerly looking forward to. I haven’t felt this excited for so many upcoming movies in such a short time span for at least a decade, maybe longer.
Star Wars for me just because I enjoyed The Force Awakens so much more than I thought I would. Any other year I would probably vote Civil War but I think I’ve reached peak Marvel as my interest wanes significantly with each movie release since last year.
From the list…Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This may be the surprise hit.
Deadpool (done right) looks to be the movie to see in 2016.
I’m curious about Fantastic Beasts, but the movie I’m the most anticipating, for good or bad, is probably Warcraft. There has yet to be a legitimately good video game movie, and Warcraft has potential.
Doc Strange for me!
I just read where Mark Millar and Matthew Vaughn are writing a sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service.
Deadpool, though Civil War is close behind.
