In a statement to the press, artist and co-writer Chris Samnee said, “I think Mark and I are crafting a really fun, exciting spy story, unlike anything that’s ever been in comics, and honestly, I think the entire team is giving their absolute all here. I’m pushing myself harder than ever to make these pages my best yet and I think [colorist]Matt Wilson is doing the best work of his career here. I can’t wait for folks to get a look at this stuff.”
The team of Waid and Samnee have taken comic tales and art to a new level over the last couple of years, so this series is going to be one to watch. There’s no word on actual release date at this point, all Marvel is saying is early 2016.
