Good business moves by Top Cow this week. First it hired Bryan Hill as its full time story editor. Now Major Spoilers has learned that the publisher has promoted Betsy Gonia to Editor.
Previously, Gonia was Managing Editor for the publisher, and has earned the promotion according to Matt Hawkins, President of Top Cow, stating in a press release, “Betsy has proven herself the most organized, capable Editor I’ve ever worked with.”
After graduating from the Savannah College of Art & Design in 2012, Betsy began working at Top Cow Productions. Now editing for the company, she also colors a few of their titles to actively partake in her favorite aspect of comic book creation.
“I’m excited about expanding my work experience at Top Cow and am looking forward to all our upcoming projects,” says Betsy Gonia.
My guess is she is busy at the San Diego Comic Con this week, but we wish her the best going forward.
