I’ve only been on board about third of those nine years and soon two as VIP but already I cant even imagine how my idle moments of the week would be without your podcasts and website. A big thank you for each and every one of you guys!
It’s hard to pin down one particular moment there have certainly been many.
Introducing me to great new comics like Atomic Robo or Tealos.
Making my daily commut very much more enjoyable and nearly getting me kicked off the train once due to uncontrollable giggles.
A wealth of comics triva and general high quality nerdery that can’t be beaten.
Whatever the reason thanks for the last nine years and here’s looking forward to the next nine.
Keeping me in suspense week after week with critical hit.
Podcasts have come and gone for me over the years but MSP always remains. it has changed how I digest media.
Admittedly, I am more of an enthusiast with comics than a reader. However, through you all, I seem to be amassing more and more comics. The first was Irredeemable. I still remember your review and discussion of the trade and now as I type this the complete run sits on my bookshelf. It was something that I HAD to read after your recommendation and that lead to other books filling shelves.
So whether it is having to stop mowing because I am laughing to hard or yelling at you for a rediculous choice on Top 5 I have come to look forward to spending a few hours with you all each week.
So here’s to 9 years and many more.
PS. How did I forget Critical Hit!?!? Holy crap Rodrigo! You have ruined all other DMs for me. You have such a skill for gameplay and storytelling that it should be a career. Cheers to the whole team for buying in and helping to create such a great tale.
I have a few moments that stick out in my head:
1. The episode that reviewed the Infinity Gauntlet. I think Matthew’s discussion points were great.
2. Stephen (et al)’s reviews of Locke and Key. You convinced me to pick up that series. Thank you.
3. Rodrigo and crew’s consistently awesome work in Critical Hit. I think my favourite scenes involve are the Season 2 finale and the Return to Tuberville story in season 3.
4. The current Zach on Film summer movie series. It takes me a while to get to these episodes, but they are generally worth the wait.
Thanks so much for everything, guys. Listening to you is one of the bright points of my day.
