LEGO set details have a tendency to give out details of upcoming superhero films lately and that continues again with Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Six different set images were revealed by Brickset today that may reveal plot points of Age of Ultron. The images of the six sets were found in a German LEGO catalogue so that might be the reason you can’t read the description of the sets in the photos.
Here is the run down of the images and sets:
76029 Iron Man vs. Ultron – 90 pieces – Iron Man MK 45, Ultron Drone Officer, Ultron Drones (x2)
76030 Duel with Hydra – 220 pieces – Hydra Henchman, Hawkeye, Thor
76031 Hulkbuster Rescue Mission – 248 pieces – Hulk, Ultron Prime, Scarlet Witch, Iron Man MK 43
76032 The Avengers Quinjet Chase – 722 pieces – Captain America, Vision, Black Widow, Ultimate Ultron, Iron Man MK 43
76038 Attack on Avengers Tower – 511 pieces – Iron Man MK 45, Thor, Iron Legion Drones (x2), Ultron
76041 Burglary at the Hydra Fortress – Piece count unknown – Quicksilver, Hydra Henchman, Baron Von Strucker, Hulk, Captain America
Did I completely miss something or are these sets the first indication that Hydra will be in Age of Ultron?
Coming in at 722 pieces the Quinjet Chase set is the largest of the Avengers sets and puts it larger than the Milano Spaceship Rescue set that was released for Guardians of the Galaxy. What is great about these sets is that they look to come with multiple minifies which is exactly what you want in a Marvel set.
The German LEGO catalogue was detailing sets to release from January to June but with Avengers: Age of Ultron coming in early May we should expect to see these sets on shelves close to the same time.
