    Lucy Lawless recruited by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

    According to TV Guide, Lucy Lawless has been hired to play a character (possibly recurring) on the upcoming season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

    The site hints that Lawless may have been hired to play Mary Maloney, which is good speculation, but with the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D, the actress could be playing anyone at this point.  It would be interesting if Marvel decided to bring female Thor to the universe via the television series, and Lawless would be excellent.

    Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD returns to ABC on September 23, 2014 at 9:00 PM Et/PT.
