Pretty neat idea. Have it be a multiple viewpoint archival footage kind of film similar to the documentary “102 Minutes That Changed America.”
What he is describing is not Jaws, its taking the core idea of a massive shark and going a different direction.
Besides, it has been done to death. Wikipedia shows 40+ listings of ‘Killer Shark’ movies that were created after Jaws.
