Weeks ago, the Intardwebz rumors had Donal Logue playing Jim Gordon in Fox’s Gotham television series. Logue denied that rumor, and now we know why – he’s playing Harvey Bullock.
It will be interesting to see how Logue plays Bullock. We’ve seen Bullock in various video games, in the Batman: Animated Series, and numerous fan films, and though the character is well known to comic book readers, the greater public will have little to no knowledge of the detective. This means the studios and Logue can go in nearly any direction they want, as long as the character is still rough around the edges.

That’s awesome! I also like that the guy who played Sarge in Dog Soldiers is Alfred! So far I’m liking how the cast is shaping up, but I still a little uneasy on the direction. Is this a police procedural set in Gotham with a young Jim Gordon . . . or just Smallville with Batman?
The Sarge in Dog Soldiers and also the son of the third Doctor… But yes, holy heck is the casting for this show getting good. Even if I’m still uneasy around the concept..the more “Gordon’s Gotham Central” and the less “Gotham Babies: V for Vacation” the better.
