Munchkin is a dedicated deck card game by Steve Jackson Games, written by Steve Jackson and illustrated by John Kovalic, that has a humorous take on role-playing games.
This week on Munchkin Land, we finally play Munchkin Legends recorded live in the fabulous Snowbird Resort in Salt Lake City, Utah during Nerdtacular 2013!
NOTE: Because we are recording this in a hotel room, the audio is not as great as we would like it to be.
Munchkin Legends
Munchkin Legends is the new Munchkin card game about legendary adventure . . . with none of that stupid roleplaying stuff. You’ll defeat mythic monsters and grab fabled magic items! Don the Death Mask and Achilles’ Heels. Wield Thor’s Hammer . . . or maybe the Magic Bassoon. Start by slaughtering the Heebie-Jeebies and Johnny Zucchiniseed, and work your way up to the Kraken . . .Fast-playing and silly, Munchkin Legends can reduce any group to hysteria. And, while they’re laughing, you can sneak past them for the win.
NOTE: This game is only available at Target stores!

Ooooh how perfect that Rob got the feathered headdress. Made my week :)
I picked this up when it first came out. I haven’t had a chance to play yet, but it has inspired me to create a few cards:
– Grendel’s Arm (acts as a third hand);
– Curse: Lady Bertilak’s Girdle (Worn around your waist, it is an outward sign of your pride, cowardice, deceit, and sin. Everyone gets to make fun of you.);
– Curse: Hony Soit Qui Mal Pence (Worn across your shoulder, it is an outward sign of your cowardice and deceit. But your friends don’t understand so they wear it too. Noone can make fun of you.)
I also rewrote The Greene Knight Door Card:
– Level: N/A
– Single combat is his specialty; noone can help you. Combat must be resolved immediately.
– Good: You automatically win the first battle and go up a level. If you are level nine, you stay there. Do not discard. You draw no treasure.
– Bad: He returns during your next turn and you automatically lose a level (you cannot run away). Discard after second battle. Draw two treasures.
