As some who likes Bedlam, I felt I had to comment. As a standalone issue, the reader isn’t given enough background. The main character is the reformed Madder Red, who was the Joker of Bedlam. The event at the start of the book was just one of many atrocities.
The main shtick is that he is trying to be a normal person now, but has started helping the police catch other serial killers.
Also, all of these Image books would benefit from a summary page.
Agreed. If I knew more about Bedlam, I probably would have liked it more. But since I had no idea what was going on, I couldn’t like it.
