Wait a minute. Falcon was part of the “team that took the world by storm”?? Did I miss something? As much as I love Sam Wilson’s character I fail to see why this series has Falcon in it when the original cartoon series brought in the “real” first minority Avenger, The Black Panther. Where’s the love for my man T’Challa?
That was my first thought too, but I’d bet they’re doing it because Falcon’s a better viable choice to bring in for future Avengers movies. With Panther they’d need to flesh out Wakanda, most logically by giving him his own movie first, or else half of the Avengers movie would be about him. And since there’s no T’Challa in sight for Phase 3, well….
Will say it a hundred times, THEY CANCELLED Avengers – Earth’s Mightiest Heroes FOR THIS?????????!
I was thinking the exact same thing TT
WACK!!! Corporate MBA synergy bull at its finest!
I am always willing to try something new, but ……….
Avengers – Earth’s Mightiest Heroes > this Av Assemble
Spectacular Spiderman > Ultimate Spiderman
I didn’t care that much for Avengers – Earth’s Mightest Heroes at first, but I came to over time. So my anxiety over how silly this new iteration of the cartoon looks is no doubt partly based on a feeling of loss over the old show. But the flippant, “wise-ass” tone and awkward need to so unify this series with the movie franchise is really unfortunate and makes me miss the old series all the more.
Forget how great EMH ended up being, forget the juvenile tone of this trailer, even forget that the inferior sounding voice-casting. Just LOOK at this thing. The animation is AWFUL! They cancelled EMH for this? The ‘barely animated’ Marvel cartoons from the 60’s looked better than this garbage!
Good news more super hero cartoons. Bad news on xD
Bad news, it looks like it was animated by a team of palsied three-year-olds.
