As more and more projects see successful funding through Kickstarter, it gives creators a chance to bring their comic creations to life. That’s the case with American Terror: Confessions of a Human Bomb, that is currently trying to crowd fund a movie adaptation of the graphic novel.
The Film centers around the story of Vol. 1 of the series. Victor Shepard now an old man at the end of his life, lives in obscurity under a false Identity. Alone he counts the days before he draws his last. The Rooster the last of his comrades has passed, en route to his funeral, he is visited by the ghosts of his past, his memories of a life long gone. We then learn of his beginnings, before he became the father of a revolution that would forever alter the world.
“This has been a collaboration of great artists such as Jeff McComsey without him the universe of American Terror would have never existed. Great actors such as Gerald Keyzer, Kenneth Simmons (Kick Ass, Side Effects), and Daniel Berkey
(Boardwalk Empire, The Men Who Built America) who breathed life into these characters. Let us not forget Producers, Carlos Rodriguez , Jose Patino, and Vincent Zambrano, who have been essential colleagues during the span of this production.”
American Terror: Confessions of a Human Bomb is being directed by Eric Ramos. The Kickstarter Campaign ends March 30, 2013, and has already raised $1900 on its way to $5000. More information about the project can be found at the Kickstarter page.
