I’m sure you’ve already seen Walt Disney Animation Studio’s Ocar-nominated short, Paperman, as it has been all over the Intardwebz over the last couple of weeks. Considering today is Valentine’s day, this romance tale is worth checking out again.
Stephen Schleicher began his career writing for the Digital Media Online community of sites, including Digital Producer and Creative Mac covering all aspects of the digital content creation industry. He then moved on to consumer technology, and began the Coolness Roundup podcast. A writing fool, Stephen has freelanced for Sci-Fi Channel's Technology Blog, and Gizmodo. I found this short to be superior than the feature, Wreck-It Ralph, it proceeded.
I concur. This is probably my favorite of the Pixar shorts to date.
Absolutely gorgeous. It brings out the romantic in me.
This is a really sweet little movie. Not quite in the Pixar league, but it is very moving, and the animation is lovely.
Oh, and seeing it on a big screen, in well rendered 3D, was extra cool :)
I don’t always get sentimental and girly… but when I do it’s over pixar-related animations.
Nice to see Disney getting back to what it made it awesome in the first place …. stories that touch you … and not in a bad way :)
