With Nickelodeon getting ready to launch the new Ninja Turtles series, it is no surprise that the merchandise would start flowing. This announcement of a LEGO set did catch me by surprise though. Check it out after the jump.
The turtles are ready to take the street inside The Shellraiser and chase down the likes of Shredder and the Foot Clan with this new Lego set. Arriving January 1, 2013, this LEGO set will include minifigs of Michelangelo and Donatello, which really make the entire set worth it. The brick company has released images of the rest of the gang in minifig form and they are some of the coolest I have seen. With the exception of Splinter, who just looks plain creepy, the rest of the line looks just as good.
With a price of $59.99 this just may be the perfect purchase to cap off a long night of welcoming in the new year.

Oh just give it up. You and I both know that people like us are going to be playing with them and probably getting “that look” from people as we do (you know the look I mean, I’m sure).
