The on-again/off-again Ghostbusters 3 movie looks to be on-again, or at least in the rewrite stage again, as Sony has announced it has hired a new writer to shape the script.
Etan Cohen, who was tasked to work Men in Black 3, has been hired by the studio to rewrite the Ghostbusters 3 script originally knocked out by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. While the writing continues, it is interesting that though Bill Murray appears to have passed on the project, reports on this latest twist still have the actor attached to the movie.
There is still no word on a potential release date for Ghostbusters 3, and at this point, it appears to be one of those, I’ll believe it when I see it situations.
